Oregon's political tax credit returns up to $50 of political contributions per year ($100 filing jointly) as a full credit against the Oregon income tax you owe. Income limits apply (federal adjusted gross income up to $75,000 single / $150,000 joint), and the credit runs through tax year 2027. Keep your receipt and ask your tax preparer.

Contributions must come from your own funds, never in someone else's name. Federal law bars contributions from foreign nationals in any U.S. election. Oregon campaign-finance reports are public record, filed in ORESTAR.
